Imagining a Cozy Writer’s Retreat

Lately, I have thinking about how fun it would be to have a personal writer’s retreat. In the autumn, I always get the desire to travel and see new places. I have been imagining how wonderful it would be to have a cozy writing retreat to travel to and not only explore new places, but work on one of my writing projects too.

So, if I had a personal writer’s retreat to go to this is what I would have –

Mount Grace Priory, Northallerton, North Yorkshire, England

First, it would be in a gorgeous old house with amazing views.

Perfect!

With quiet, reflective waters to contemplate

A perfectly stocked and comfortable desk

Nature all around

And a full library

What would your writer’s retreat hold?

  1. I felt myself relaxing more and more as I read this. A writing retreat like this would be perfect, and Salem, MA and Cape Cod would be excellent locations.

That being said, I’m also super-psyched about going back to the Iceland Writers Retreat next year. πŸ˜€
