The Top Eight Books I Could Reread Forever…

I don’t often have time to re-read books these days. There are so many books in my TBR pile still and I feel like I am discovering new things to read everyday! But, every once in a while I love to pick up one of my old favorites and peruse the pages again. There is comfort in knowing how the story ends. And re-reading books always reminds me of the first time I read it and why I fell in love with it in the first place.

But, do you know how hard it is to pick some of your favorite books?! It’s like picking your favorite ice cream or your favorite animal or your favorite pillow! Can’t I just love them all? Choosing is too hard. 🙂

The Lord of the Rings (The Lord of the Rings, #1-3)
These books are some of the best ever written, I believe. They are a reason I love to read and how I realized what amazing worlds you can build if you just let your imagination soar!

Little House in the Big Woods (Little House, #1)
This is one of the first books I ever remember reading on my own. Reading the story still gives me a peaceful, cozy feeling.

The Adventures of Robin Hood
I was absolutely enthralled when I first read these stories! I love legends and these are some of my favorites.

Let Me be a Woman
Just so full of good, true advice.

The Secret Garden
The mystery of the garden and the foggy English landscape is always perfect!

A Tale of Two Cities
I didn’t read this book until I was older, but it became an instant favorite of mine! One of the few books I have ever cried through while reading 🙂

Smiling Hill Farm
I read this book for school and have always loved the story of a farm passed down through three generations. I think it is out of print now, but if you find it make sure you grab it!

Sense and Sensibility
One of the very first books I read by Jane and still my favorite!
